Printed books presented in style

You want to show off your company or product range using a high-quality portfolio presentation that's sure to impress partners and customers? Then do so with printed hardcover books that are more durable and professionally looking than brochures, for example. The books' longevity is a major advantage, especially for highly used content, such as product presentations, guidelines or user manuals. The sturdy cover makes the books easy to handle and creates a sophisticated look.

In our online print shop, you can choose between various book formats including standardised sizes. A5 is ideal for text-heavy products such as pocket books and non-fiction books. To print books rich in product illustrations, A4 is the perfect size. This format is great for graphic design portfolios, photo books and presentations with plenty of graphics, photos and pictures.

Cover and binding of the printed book

The hard cover is made of 150 gsm art paper with a 2 mm chipboard for reinforcement. This adds stability to the cover and provides added design flexibility. Additionally, you may choose a finish for the cover, such as a matt, glossy or soft-touch film lamination to add a touch of elegance. Note: You can specify a one-coloured print for the inside pages of the book and design the cover in multiple colours.

We use high-quality PUR adhesive binding for our printed books. Sturdy and long-lived, this binding type is perfect for catalogues and books. Unlike the lower-priced hotmelt adhesive binding, the superior PUR adhesive cannot be reheated. PUR adhesive binding is temperature-resistant.

Printing books - designing the inside pages

Before ordering printed books, you should decide in which colour to print the contents. The inside pages of your book are fully customisable and can be ordered with four-colour printing in our online shop. This is a great way to showcase pictures and graphics. To print text-only books, single colour printing is ideal. Your books can have anything between 48 and 328 pages. Moreover, you can choose between different paper types. The following paper stocks are available: art paper and book paper. Art paper has good colour reproduction qualities and is available in different paper weights. Uncoated book paper is typically used for books and is bulkier than art paper. It is particularly well suited to print text and spot colour illustrations.

Ordering long print runs or single copies of books

We produce hardcover books using state-of-the-art digital printing technology. Unlike offset printing, digital printing does not require plate exposure. This means that you can order books already from a single copy. We print books both in short and long print runs of several hundred book copies.
